not much in galway, head south to Lahinch or north to strandhill

say a little further north to Bundoran (Tullan Strand would be better)... a bit more consistent, and not quite as rippy (except by the cliffs).
nothing wrong with strandhill, really nice wave when its on, but it goes through cycles every couple of years where the sand washes off the rocks and there are exposed rocks all over the bottom. seems to be in the middle of one of these cycles at the moment.
lahinch is pure sandy bottom with the added bonus of lifegaurds. closer to Galway but not quite as consistent as Tullan. Has a surfcam tho and Magicseaweed has an eyeball report usually so rare to waste a journey there.
