Surfing Waves

Whats up guys, I am going to be in Britagne, France for a lil over a month this summer and was thinkning about brining my thruster. I will be in a lil trailer park about 15 miles outside of Renes, France. My buddies family that I am staying with said we can prolly hit up the beach about 5 or 6 times. My questions are what is the water temp gunna be like? am I going to need my nice warm Nor Cal wet suite? Whats are the swells gunna look like in July - August and where should I hit up?

Anyone ever fly Aer Lingus with a surfboard? and how did it turn out?
