Hi guys
I'm gonna start a long surf trip to Middle- and South America in August. I don't know where to start. I actually wanted to start in Costa Rica, 'cause I'd like to just take some Spanish lessons, surf & chill for the first few weeks. But lots of people & statistics tell me that it is too rainy during that time. On the other hand there are not a lot of tourists then, what I also prefer. Does someone of you have experience during that time? I heard the surf is good in August/September, is that true? Or do you have any ideas where I could start?

Thanx!

Cheers from Switzerland

hello I was in a trip in Costa Rica the past year and in the rain season, but it is not a great problem, the climate also continues being warm and the water. it is possible to be lived normally. I was in playa hermosa and the place is perfect for surf.
