SoCal, Baja + Costa Rica...anyone else??

Postby Enjoy_the _ride!!! » Mon May 05, 2008 7:48 pm

Hey,
I'm just wondering if anyone else is gonna be travelling these places as my best mate has just informed me he's too skint! not cool!! so i guess i'm a lone surf traveller wondering if anyone else wants to meet up and share costs. I'm not too fussed about California but travelling down baja would be a lot better, cheaper, safer and more fun with someone else. If anyone is planning a similiar journey then let me know, i'm laid back and will squeeze in anywhere and i always pay my way!! was kinda planning to be in Baja between june 16th-july10th

The same thing as above also applies with being in Costa Rica. around about 15thjuly-15thAug. If i can squeeze in your car to spots, sleep on your porch/split room costs, etc then i'll pay my way and share good times!!

P.S i'm not a freak, nor am i rich, i'm just set on having a good time and
i'm gutted that my summer surf trip now looks like i'm gonna be doing it alone, never travelled alone before but that doesnt mean its not gonna be rad!!

Travel alone its way more fun and you'll meet way more people because of it.

hey last week i was in a surf camp in playa hermosa in the central pacific.
t was incredible I could go to several points to surf and these months it is the season of good waves, in that zone are several near points and perfect waves I recommend to you that you visit that zone.

I don't mean to burst your bubble but northern baja's bad news right now. I live in SoCal We just don't go there now. attacks on tourests are out of hand. I'd advise head straight for cabo

^^I recommend skip the baja too.....to much corruption and trouble traveling by car into mex. Fly to cabo, or skip mex totally. California is expensive, but if you camp, or flop at a bro's house it can be cheaper.
CR is incredible!!! You will have fun there no doubt.

$20.00 a nite you can sleep on my porch. $30.00 my backyard, extra $5 you can sleep in the dog house.

Good luck....if ya come to Ventura, let me know, I'll show ya some spots.
