Shortboards for sale in Tamarindo area?

Hello Everyone -

My first time to Costa Rica. I'm flying into Liberia.

I figure I should head to Tamarindo & buy a board? Anyone there selling a board? Does anyone have suggestions on where to buy a (used, decent condition) shortboard? Any idea what this might cost?

Lots of different surf shops in Tamarindo. You can find everything from brand new Robert August Longboards to beat up used shortboards and everything in between. Probably spend $300 for a good condition shortboard.
