Surf Board Rental - Hossegor

Postby Guest » Thu Aug 05, 2004 1:18 pm

Hi all,

I'm off to Hossegor next month for a baptism of fire as I have never surfed before.

Obviously I need a board, does anyone know if there is anywhere local in Hossegor that rents out surfboards otherwise I'll be asking round to borrow one or even buy one.

Cheers.

To be fair, I'm sure there are soo many places there to rent from seeing as it is practically Europe's no.1 summer surfing destination. But all i can advise is that you should look around for cheap prices/good boards before u commit yourself and never leave your passport as a return assurance!! My mate did that a few years back and the guy packed up with his passport and legged it! so he was left with a 7'6" bic under his arm in exchange for a UK passport!!! Nightmare! Anyways, have fun!

Cool thanx for your reply.

I thought as much, well save me buying or borrowing one & lugging it over there as I will be taking my golf clubs as well!

Cheers.
