Summer Surf destination for my honeymoon

Anyhow, we are getting married in Taiwan, so it will have to be somewhere close by (where it a better season, I'd rather just stay on the east coast of Taiwan and get world class waves all to myself - unfortunately the summer is hit or miss depending on typhoon activity). So I'm thinking it will probably be in or around Indonesia but I want to avoid Bali and only have 2 weeks so some of the further off Islands will take too long to get to). Whatcha think? Anybody been to Java?
