any surfing spot in Malaysia?

i'm from singapore... no surfable wave here... but since Malaysia is just next door, wonder any1 knows any good place for surfing... cannot afford to go Bali everytime :lol:

thx, guys... the artificial waves in Sunway Lagoon look interesting... good thing is it should be avail all yr round... will check out next time in KL..

good to know Desaru has waves for all levels. it's reasonablly close to where i am. will definitely give it a go... :P

yeah iv surfed sunway nothing like real surfing and they only let you surf it on the weekend

sunway lagoon looked pretty weak when i saw it, apprently you can get 4m swell on the perenthian islands during moonson season at least thats what one of the locals there told me other than that best off geting a cheap flight to bali

Yo, Travel, we do get surf in Malaysia. Quite a bit, in fact. Have a look at Cherating, Desaru and Tanjung Resang too. Most surf will be during the NE monsoon, November till March. Still some left now, better chop-chop eh.
