Bought myself a 2nd hand minimal was wondering if anyone had any tips/advice on where to go-I'm planning to fly out in the next couple of weeks. Also I've got a ding on the board and thought it might be best cheaper to get it fixed out there?

Just buy a patch kit and fix it. Ding repair is pretty simple. Will be the cheapest way to get it done too.

I'd get it fixed out there, they dont charge much and do a really professional job.

Just head for Tarazhoute great spot for surfing and the have about six little surf shops where the locals can fix just about anything.

Enjoy your trip

yeah tagazhoute / tamraght is the place man, several surfing spots, warm weather all year, i have a friend who runs a surfcamp there, here's his eail, tell him that abraham recommended him to you, his mail is youmri@hotmail.com, his name is youness, he's got a full all inclusive package, ask him for his best deal. he's got all surfing equipment, boards and wetsuits, so you don't have to worry about paying the airline to take your board there, although he's got learning boards, bigger ones, but he could get a smaller size one, if you're out to learn, then don't take one, if you rip, then take yours.
peace

You can go to Safi (one of the ten best spots in the word) , a city between Casablanca and Agadir. There are good spots there.

You can also go to Taghazoute or Essaouira.

I think now it's a good season to go surfing in morocco.
