Surfing Waves

I'm planning on treating my boyfriend to a surfing holiday for his birthday in september. Haven't a clue where would have the best waves at this time of year. Preferably with a hot climate and warm water – any ideas?

ive already booked my flights for indo, flying into bali then onto sumbawa, last two weeks of august and fist week of september
