Hey there, just wanting a few tips on surfing in morocco. Im flying form NZ so i cant overload on gear. I was hoping to bring a longboard and two shortys but im going to have trouble when i want to leave as cheap euro flights hammer you on overweight baggage. How expensive is it to hire a longboard there? Also where would be the best place to base ourselves without a car or is having a car a must?? How expensive is it to get by there? Dont have a massive budget as im travelling for a while.

Not sure about hire costs but probally reasonable.

Tarazhoute is the place to head for, just 20 min drive from Agadir. Apartments are about 200MDH a night, roughly £12 and can be shared with others to bring the costs down. Food is cheap and healthy.

I loved the place and the surf was consistent and rippable, enjoy!

Any 2/3mm will do.

The water is chilly but for what you're probally used to it'll be toasty!

The weather down there is nice as well, seems to be always sunny.

You're gonna have a great time :D
