Vietnam and the surf

So, I checked the search feature of this little forum, but no one has really talked about the surf in vietnam. Has anyone been over there and seen any waves? I've looked it up and I hear that the place to go is called China Beach. I'll most likely be there late spring, so anyone who's been there/heard about it can tell me anything about it? I'm not a pro surfer--heck, probably barely an amatuer, if that--so I'm not looking for double overheads, or really anything pasat 5 feet! so any helpers out there?

thanks

I've seen Apocalypse Now, is that the right title? Brother had a baby girl earlier, so lil tippsy, not him actually his wife.
Does that count, lol. The film that is.

And hang on, if you were to plan a trip to the Indo, why head to Nam, better places and all that. Bit like going to the lakes, lots of scenery booger all to do.(IMO)
