I've just got the bug for surfing, spent last week learning in Watergate bay, can anyone give me any tips about Croyde/Saunton and suggest the likely surf for this weekend?
I'd like to get down there for some more before the winter sets in...
And is anyone else going there? Are there any good places to rent the gear?
Thanks all!
PS. my first post :")

if your heading to croyde there is the 'little pink shop' which is on moor lane you cant miss it when going to croyde beach (on the left). hire is about £20 a day for board, suit and boots and theyre a real friendly bunch, i was chatting to one of the lads about the local area and he was really helpful, saying if there is any swell putsborough beach is also a good option.

Thanks for the tips everyone!
I was catching 1ft waves on a softboard, so anything bigger would be a result!
I haven't tried surfing in winter, I guess with a thicker wetsuit it's ok?
