Question About Peru Surf Tour

I am going to peru from Oct 25-Nov 5th and i have read how hard it is to get to some of the surf spots so i was looking into surf tours and i found one called peruecosurf.com. Site looks ok but when i contacted them they want 50% upfront deposited into their bank account which sounds so fishy. Does anyone else know about this? I have never booked surf tour or camp. It would be different if i could pay with credit on website but money in bank account sounds like such a scam.

Dont ever put money into any bank account!!!

If they are legit, they'd let you pay by credit card or even cash in full when you get there.

I'd go to Peru and get the info I need..........there will be plenty of companies who dont advertise on the internet that will take you where you need to be.

Personally I wouldnt go with a surf tour company and make my way there on public transport and find my own accomodation.

It'll be a lot cheaper

I agree with Pat...

Takes a little extra effort but much cheaper to do it yourself.

(Just booked a trip to New York for NYE, Lastminute wanted £600 more. Just booked the same flight and called the same hotel ourselves, saved a fortune)

Do a bit of research and catch the bus/train...
