haven't got a clue!

Just gonna go with the flow and see what happens!

I can't wait to get there. As soon as I've checked in to the hostel, I'm gonna run to the beach and jump into that beautiful ocean! Only a week to go!!!! :woot:

i think hanauma bay is the best thing for inexperienced snorkelers.

Went snorkeling at hanauma bay and other places on other islands, been inside diamond head, my mom and brother went to the top, and next time I'm there I want to do that too. It's been about 5 years since I've been to Oahu, most of my time has been spent on Maui and the Big Island.

It'll just be a 3-4ft swell. It probably won't break.

Yea 3-4ft HS is like a 6ft+ face.

lol i was gonna say, anyway, i've seen pipeline on a smallish swell and it looks well cool, although it looks better on a huge swell, but i wouldnt dare surf it on a big swell.

not to burst your bubble but NS. is flat-2 right now. theres supposed to be a 2-3ft bump on saturday caused by onshore winds. thats like waist high and hardly rideable.. messing up at pipeline most likely means being swept out to sea on days like that.

im sure youll probably see atleast a small south swell that will be way better than anything youll see on the NS. while youre here you can call (808)9222664 for quick surf reports

if someone calls you a haole be very cautious. get out of their way and dont look at them too much. theres some spots in waikiki where you will be surfing, among the tourist breaks, where the old beach boys go make trouble. the word haole in hawaii is for whites as the n- word is for blacks in america.

I've almost finished packing :woot: Later tonight will probably be the last time I log on for the summer (unless I happen to walk past a computer while I'm there and feel the need to gloat a little  ).

I've ticked everything off my list, except three little things to sort out at some point before I leave. I'm finally ready. The exchange rate is AMAZING too :D

I'm soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo excited!

If you get to the Big Island, be sure to see Kilauea volcano as it is really going off right now. It's been erupting continuously since 1983, but is having surface flows right now. Best to see it in the evening.
