I received a message from PunaTuna about mid-day today. He's hanging in there. Lava still creeping slowly toward his home. The area he lives in is getting boxed in. Everyone's nerves are frayed. Fortunately, authorities are not making arrests. Please continue to keep PunaTuna and all the Kāne, Wāhine, & Keiki (men, women, & children) near Kīlauea volcano in your thoughts and prayers.

Didn't Kauai get rocked by some massive flooding recently as well?

Yes still recovering from that no where near back to normal but like Big island it is only the North shore and mostly you would want ot be on the south shore during summer for surfing . Umm I meant to say that like the big island it is only a small part of the island affected and the rest is fine
