Yes, there are many. Are you going for the Cloud 9 Billabong event?

u can rent boards at patricks on the beach (www.patricksonthebeach.com), but don't stay there. this guy is an asshole! try to get a bungalow in front of cloud 9 - you will love it! many locals try to sell their boards. i got a pretty good shortboard for 30 euro. in europe you have to pay about 250 euro for such a board.

No, don't rent boards from Patrick's. In fact, stay away from Patrick's On The Beach as far as you can.

Places where you can rent boards in Siargao:
- J-Spot Surf Shop
- Laida's Shop
- Ocean 101 Resort
- Cherinicole Resort, Satur Honor Resort, Pansukian, Drop Inn Resort... pretty much any resort.

This is not to say that all resorts in Siargao have their own quiver of boards for rent, but all of them know someone who rents out his boards. Just let them know that you are looking for a board and they can immediately find you one.
