Hey K Mac,

Don't know much about fishing but some of the best surf spots can be found in Co.Donegal like Bundoran or Tullan strand. Co.Clare is also good around the Lahinch area. Doughmore being an excellent spot there. And my own spot in Co.Cork, Garretstown is great in the winter. Alll these can be found in the Europe stormrider which gives good descriptions and directions. So you should be able to find fresh water fishing places around these areas.

Hope that helps, Enjoy your trip!
Nicola
