I love surifng in Portugal, personally I've surfed the South West tip.

Drive to Lagos if hiring boards there's a great shop there. Then to Sagres, Beliche is a great break, and if you 'want it big' Tonel!!! Awesome spot, I just stood and watched there lol! Solid 15ft+ when I went, did get in at Beliche tho. If you want it smaller stick to Algarve area Praia De Rocha. I can't spell it of the top of my head, up from Beliche you come to Carapoteira I think it's spelt like that? Awesome spot, beach and reef.

May be going back there in September myself, love the place!

Enjoy! :D

i got back last sunday (2nd) was out there for 9 days with the family.

went to baleal most days, was about 3-4ft at the start of the week then started to drop off,if youve not been to baleal its a great place but the crowds at the north end are a bit to much

a better wave was a mile or so up the coast "pria del raye"good sets most days.

even saw stu pot from grange hill in one beach bar
