Surfing Barbados

I'm off to Barbados for 3 weeks next may, does anyone know how much a secondhand longboard would cost me to buy over there? I've e-mailed a couple of surf shops but had no reply yet, looking at the price to hire for 3 weeks I'm thinking buying might work out cheaper and I'd have a board at the end of it?
