I went to Barbados last June and surfed Bathsheba (East Coast) and right outside the hotel we were staying in at St Lawrence Gap. Bathsheba was a quality break but reef so maybe not ideal. The break outside the hotel was a beach break, wind swell but still easily rideable. Managed to hire boards at both spots no problems and the locals were cool and real friendly. Not to sure if there will be waves where your staying but hire a car and you will have no problem finding somewhere. Enjoy your stay, it is a cracking place.
