Long weekend

Postby ^*^BATMAN^*^ » Thu Feb 01, 2007 6:41 pm

This is for the people that are from the US, or know the US. I only really know of the big surf spots. I am just looking to get away for a little bit. Like take a monday off work, jump on a plane on a friday, and come back monday night.

So I am looking for spots that would be worth it. I will 99% book last minute so I can see where will be firing and go there. I just dont know where to look.

Anywhere along the California coast. Pick a coastal airport, and drive up and down the coast to find a good spot.

You can fly into LAX, John Wayne or San Diego for Southern Cal. It all depends on what type of surfing you are looking for Longboard fun board shortboard. Take a look at Malibu Huntington Beach Newport Beach San Clemente. I am sure some of our San Diego friends can give you some spots down there. Black is one in San diego I could suggest.

yea trestles is good. Blacks if there is a swell out or sunsett cliffs if you like very long rides. But chek the surf reports before you come otherwise you could be dissapointed.

I havn't been there before, but I do know that the swell direction plays a major role in the So. Cal. area.
