Packing for Nicaragua

Postby WaitingForIt » Mon Aug 09, 2004 4:48 pm

Can you guys help me out??.. I'm leaving to Nicaragua on Friday and need some help with the packing. Do you guys reccomend just throwing all my clothes in my boardbag or taking a seperate suitcase for clothes and all my extras??... The guys im going with suggested the boardbag option but I thought the bag would be to heavy and would get charged for excess baggage plus my boards. This is my first out of the country surf trip so any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Impossible to say, as I don't have a clue about how long you are staying.

Just bring a small backpack that can go as handluggage. You don't wanna bring a suitcase.

I reckon you are staying somewhere on the coast for surf. I remember staying on the Nicaraguan coast for a month. All I really needed was board and shorts, 4 t-shirts and money.

Make sure to enjoy "flor de caña" from day one. Awesome rum! (remember ice, ask for "hielo")
