Surf trip to Feurteventura/Biarritz?

Postby IrishGirl » Mon Jul 12, 2004 8:57 pm

....Or maybe somewhere else? Suggestions welcome!! :)

My first surf trip and as I'm broke I want to go to wherever's cheapest and I want decent enough waves!
Been surfing almost a year and a half but I get out quite alot (whenever there's a swell).

Could any of you tell me what beaches would be best? I wouldn't be comfortable surfing reefs just yet.

Also any of you know where would be cheap yet nice to stay? And if I brought my beloved shortboard will it be safe!! (in transit!)

Also Car Rental? How expensive!?

-I'd really appreciate any advice/suggestions. Thanks! :D

There are loads of great beach breaks in the south of france, its quite expensive down there but if your up for camping its the cheapest option. you can camp right on the beaches too.
The whole coastal region is a giant 100mile long beach so your bound to find a wave you'll enjoi. im heading that way soon, so email me if you want to know anything!
