Rent a car

Postby Xavier » Tue Jun 29, 2004 6:10 am

Hi from a french now living in Japan.
Sadly I got to confess that France isn't really a cheap destination...but we have the best wine worldwide.......
For the rent of a car you will find different types of prices, it depends of what you need. You'll find a little car, like a Twingo, for about 350euros/week. But if you're looking for something bigger the prices get incredibly high. Like 1000/1200euros/week....
And the second problem is the price of the gas: in France it is very expensive, nothing to do with the States.
But I think that our beachbreaks deserve it, especially in autumn and september to december is the period of good big swells with offshore: A frame type with a lot of power... Enjoy.

Car Hire

Postby Cheyrou » Tue Jul 06, 2004 10:05 pm

I recently had a car from Biarritz for about 150 euros for a week from Hertz. I booked it through the airline (Ryanair), maybe if you book through your airline you can get a similar deal. It looks like you can get 10-20 percent off doing this. It was a small four-door.
