Surf in July?

I know someone has pritty much asked this question, however...
I am going to be in Paris the first half of July / I will have some self time toward the end of my trip and i was hoping to find some surf.
Where do you think my best chances of finding surf will be / Brittany South?
I was thinking on buying a used board or something because this may be cheaper than shiping my board from Florida, USA / Any advise on this?
Any help will be great.
