Lacanau, France

Postby Cuttsy » Thu May 20, 2004 7:45 pm

Hi there, I'm going over to Lacanau in a few weeks and read somewhere that I won't need to pack a wetsuit. Can anyone tell me if this is true as my last wetsuit got stolen in Portugal last September. Surely the water wont be warm enough to just wear boardies, will it? Also any info on the local area would be great i.e. what size waves to expect, what bars are worth checking out etc.

It might be a little nippy if your in for a long time of the sun isnt out because the sea is 1 month behind air temp rises remeber..

August-october is the warmest time of year.

You should be able to get away with boardies and rashvest tho. if its a cold day then u will prob get cold.
