Beginners surfing latin america september october

Hello Dear Surfing Community,

me and my husband are looking for some place in latin america when we can go surfing for a month starting in the middle of september till middle of october.

He can already surf a bit (longboard) and I just want to learn - so it would be great if the breaks would be beginners friendly. A plus is also if the spot has some nice surf school and possibility of a month accomodation rental nearby.

Because our funds are limited, I would prefer to find someplace with more reasonable pricing than Costa Rica. We don’t mind the place being a little of the grid or not a lot going on in the vicinity in general.

Check out Lobitos, Peru
Relaxing town with:
- piscinas, left point break, can get big but nice wave
- tres Cruces, same as above but smaller and harder to reach, 30m by mototaxi
- la punta: good longboard wave
- baterias: bit more challenging and rocks, but fun!
