Nosara during Easter

Anyone know what Nosara is like during Easter weekend? We are thinking Moana resort for our kids’ Spring Break, but will arrive on Good Friday at the Liberia airport and have to make our way to Nosara. I’ve heard the roads are really busy with locals on vacation and a lot of shops, restaurants, bars in Nosara are closed for Easter weekend and beaches are packed. Anyone know if that’s true? And how is the surfing there in April? Thoughts on the hotel? Thank you!
