OBX surf spots right now?

Postby Arkstar » Sat Aug 10, 2019 3:52 pm

Hey all!

I'm down for the week at OBX in nagshead right now. I was wondering if anyone could direct me to any good surf spots with waves that don't break only on the beach.
I don't really care about height, as long as they're ridable.
Preferably in nagshead, but I'm down to drive a little if it means better waves.

Thanks!

Jeannette Pier's is your best bet. If not then you will need to head down to Hatteras.

Your week's already pased, but thought I'd add for the crowd that Frisco is great for beginners and intermediate surfers (but maybe not as consistent as Hatteras) . Just follow the route 15 minutes farther south from the lighthouse road on Hatteras. I'm a bit of a novice myself, but have been going to the Outer Banks most of my life and surfed a couple of years there.
