Taghazout - April 2018

Hi

I'm going to Taghazout with my wife and kids in April. Me and my son (14) just started surfing this year and are obvious beginners. We will try and get some extra surfing a few weekends over the winter, but will probably still be pretty poor surfers by the time we go. My wife and older daughter 17 will mostly be interested in chilling at the hotel and relaxing on the beach. My youngest son 7 likes to play in the sea, i may try and get him a lesson or two.

I want to maximize the surfing for me and my middle son. But also have a nice place for the rest of the family to relax on the beach. We have booked a hotel already but no lessons. I'll bring my longboard and a big bic board too.

Any suggestions / tips?

we went to taghazout last week looking for surf classes hostel or smth in kind, we met some australian guys who advised us "Aloha surf camp " , we shearched for it , it's located in Tamraght , so we stayed there as a group of friends for one week, and it was the perfect deal! The surf camp organized everything for us, food / accommodation, every day surf class / gears, transportation and some sightseeing tours around the area.
Very nice team, very friendly and welcoming, "Youssef" was super kind to arrange special requests or attentions!!
It was for us a very good stay, first discoveries about surfing in Morocco and an excellent quality/price deal
