Orim there are contest from the middle of October culminating with the Pipemasters between December 8 and 20.
The exact times are available on the WSL website but even they may vary according to the surf and conditions the dates for any event is the time frame in which they run.
Find the WSL website and check in daily.
Any of these competitions in good surf will display surf better than most you will see anywhere else, Top level of competition and the contenders trying to get into the top tier for the next season.
Enjoy

As contest go, the bid daddy of them all is the Quiksilver in Memory of Eddie Aikau. The waiting period is from December 1st to the last day of February.

The first contest is the Xcel Pro held at Sunset beach. That waiting period is end of October to mid November.

The "last" contests are the Hui Backdoor Shootout ( 1/5- 1/16 ) and the Volcom Pipeline pro ( 1/26- 2/7 )

The Hui Backdoor shootout is a very different kind of contest almost like it's not a contest but prizes are awarded
So what is worse.... dying or regretting it for the rest of my life? Obviously I chose not regretting it.
