Surfing in Late September early October

Hi there,

Myself and girlfriend are looking for a surfing holiday in late September / early October 2015 and was wondering if any one can make some recommendations.

We were keen on Nicaragua, but from looking on google, this time of the year is not great?

We are beginners and looking for a nice hotel at the same time.

I would be grateful for any information / suggestions?
