Get to know the local surfers

Postby Autumn » Fri Mar 06, 2015 5:56 pm

If I was traveling around the world on a surf trip, I think the first thing I would want to do when I got to a new place would be to investigate the local surf scene. Get to know some of the surfers and ask them about the breaks and what to expect. Here is a tip if you are ever in the Los Cabos area of Baja California Sur; book something with the La Bocana Surf School, because the owner is also the president of the Surf Association and the instructors are the local pros and champions. They know the local waters better than anybody and also can take you on adventure tours of the secret spots.<< URL removed. What do you think this is - the Yellow Pages? >> your foot ”IN” the door in the Cabo surf scene. They also have good leads to beautiful accommodations ....
Does anybody have any other leads to local surfers in other spots?
