Resort by the beach with surf

Hi there!

I've surfed a few times now (both hiring an instructor off the cuff and surf camps) and would love to hear if anyone knows any good places to surf, that also have a resort by the beach/ easy city access?

I've found surf camps to be great fun, if a little intense, and often can be isolated in terms of other things to do. Ideally it would be great to visit a city/ resort for a couple of weeks that is directly near to/ next to/ on a beach where you can also hire boards/ instructors as and when. Europe is a preference, but further afield is also fine

If anyone has any ideas it would be greatly appreciated

Europe is not my area, but surely France and Portugal, or perhaps the Canaries, will offer what you want. eg Biarritz

Morocco. Tagazhout Bay. It is very close to the lively city of Agadir. You can rent equipment, get instruction etc.
