New to surfing! Tynemouth?

Postby Sophie_x » Sun Jul 21, 2013 10:46 pm

Hi guys,
I'm pretty new to surfing and in actual fact have surfed very little, but always really really waned to be able to! I live in Newcastle so thought Tynemouth would be the best place to go? I have a board that I purchased cheap when on holiday in Devon so had a bit of a go down there, although I wasn't exactly brilliant!
I decided to do up the board, spray painting it and redesigning it, I am going to lacker it soon then try and get out with it! It will still float won't it?! I has no real dings in it!
Also, anyone know any good surf teachers that aren't a fortune? I have a wetsuit and board and that is what half the cost is for usually?
Thanks
Sophie

Hey.

From your way id check Saltburn out. Great beginners wave and a nice little beach set up. Check Ritchie at flow surf school. Nice bloke. Never had a lesson but heard good things!

Good luck and maybe see you out there!
