Surf spots -WA, SA, Tassie

Ok so I just got the go ahead on a work project which means I get to travel around oz a fair bit over the next couple of months.

Anywhere I can squeeze in a quick surf I will and just wondered where the nearest spots were to:

Adelaide - I know the mid coast is meant to be good - anyone got any experience at moana/seaford/middleton etc?

Perth - I'll probalby be staying in Freo so Cottesloe seems like an obvious choice - is it as sharkey as everyone says? Is Scarborough any better?

Hobart - Clifton beach?

Narooma - ?

I won't have a lot of travel time as essentially I'll be staying overnight and then flying back the next day so I'm looking at half days, somewhere I can hire a board and a wetsuit, - get to airport by lunchtime, that sort of thing.

Hobart - Clifton beach?

If you're only there overnight, Clifton and further around south arm is your only real option, or maybe eaglehawk neck. If its big and wild on the east coast, hit clifton which is a bit more protected. If its kinda middling, then head further down south arm and explore a little. If its flat on the south arm, head out of hobart to eaglehawk neck on the east coast.

Everywhere else in tassie will be way too far to go - its not renowned for its rapid way of life and fast roads

South Australian spots the mid coast is most of the time a hoax, swells have to rebound in around Kangaroo Island, Seaford and south of Seaford there is bird rock near Maslins ( watch out for the pink pointers, usually only seen during warmer months)can have that sort of swell cleaned up.
Middleton near Victor Harbour is more aptly know as dribbleton, Chiton Rocks has a similar set up to Middleton basically long sand beach breaks with a straight on swell if it's onshore there is nothing stopping the ocean wind between you and Antarctica.
There's Knights which is more a bodyboard spot Kings and Petrels further west you have Waitpinga, which always felt very spooky and sharky.

For better surf make the trek to Yorke peninsula or Eyre Peninsula, all of these spots are home to wandering Great Australian Bites ( great whites) caution advised.

I live south of Narooma which is very much a seek and you shall find zone, part of my choosing to live here is the great number of surf spots, right now it is the middle of winter, if you are flying down to the Narooma area you will have two choices of Airport, most likely Moruya or at a pinch Merimbula both of which on landing fly over numerous surf spots , next question how are you going to get to them?
