Puerto Vallarta ?

Hello.. I'm a newbie here. I'm going to Puerto Vallarta in Mexica in two weeks and wanted to know if, by any chance, there is surf overthere. My dream is trying to surf at least once in my life so it would be so great if it was possible to do it overthere. I'm from Montreal in Canada and my first "outside country trip" (i don't count NY).. Isn't ?

yeah there is, i'm headed there in a week and there are lots of good spots, but mostly the beaches are accessible by boat only
