Accomodation in Matosinhos

Hi,

I´ll spend a few days in the north of Portugal to surf.
Does anyone know a good place to stay in Matosinhos? I look for a cheap and nice place.

If anyone can help me... thanks

Hi, I went there once didn't even look where i'd stay, walked and ask around and ended up in a little hostel quite cheap with breakfast incuded, single room, private bathrrom with TV and a phone like 15euros/day, can't remember the name but there's a street where the tram can only go by, like a boulevard, there are all these shops all along, like 4 blocks from the beach, didn't get good surf, as it so happens, conditions weren't good, try also leca da palmeira not too far from there for surf.
it's a lot cheaper comparing to other countries in europe for sure. hope I helped you out a bit.

Hi,
I went to Matosinhos these days and I found a very nice hostel there.
The name of the hostel is Into the Blue and it is 5 minutes walk from the beach.
They have partnerships with a surf school where you can rent and take surf lessons.
The ambience is very good and very nice breakfast

The price and quality of the hostel ir very good too. It was a very good experience and would recommend to any friend.

Matosinhos is a beautiful city and the hostel is close to the airport ant the city of Porto.
The beach is nice, had a good days and good waves

I hope to return soon.
