Lanzarote flat?

Postby Nicola » Thu Apr 14, 2005 5:46 pm

Hey everyone,

I'm after booking a surfing holiday in lanzarote to coinicide with a friends wedding but we're going in the last week of July and after looking at stormrider and other sites I get the impression swell is at its worst here for that month. Has anyone been during this time? I'd be happy with anything really except lake conditions!! But if anyone has been during this time I'd love to hear how you got on so I know what to expect and get even more excited!

Thanks
Nicola

well you wont get double overhead!

but you'll defo get something.i went in august one year and it was 3-4 foot.

the canaries are so good in winter that everyone says summer is rubbish but you still get waves that are better than the uk!
enjoy!

Cool, Thanx for the info paul. I can't wait for it now! Have still gotta go about getting insurance which includes surfing as an activity (pure vacations require it) Have you or anyone else got any suggestions for which is best/cheapest?

Thanks again for the help
