Hey Mate hope you find a good spot surfin with your Dad somewhere. We do our own surf trips to Sumatra and Mentawai islands on our yacht Gone Surfin. My wife and I fly our sons over to enjoy some great surfing sessions and cultral experiences. Each year we go somewhere different last season was the Solomons before that PNG. If there are 4 surfers that want to spend 6 weeks surfin Sumarta ,Banyak's and the Telo's check out our websites.

i lived in portugal for a year. Def the best surf found from peniche south to mecco. The algarve generally only cranks in autum and winter.

On my last trip to Europe, I spent 3 terrific days at Biarritz. Great fun.

A local surfer has started a website/blog (www.biarritz-surf.com) to give more info on surfing in Biarritz.

Miramar beach , Port Vieux are great places to surf.
