campsites in southwest of france at atlantic coast

Postby schluk5 » Sun May 02, 2010 10:41 am

Hey folks,

We are planning another surf trip, this time to france. As some beginners joined us, we need a place, where the waves aren't too big (so maybe 7-8feet at maximum should be enough).

Do you have any tips for campingsites? we don't want the animation and pool staff. Just a nice chilly campside next to the beach.

Any ideas?

Thank you!

You should hit Bidart.
Usually smller waves than in Anglet and Hossegor. And one of the only places with campings in the area.
You can also consider Lacanau upnorth but difficult to paddle out.
When do you plan to come ?
