Surf Trips

When going on surf trips, how many of you guys go at the same time? Is wax commonly shared among your mates? How about the board? Do you guys share boards?

Surf Trips: Anywhere between 2 and 6 depends. Tend to meet up rather than travel together.
Share Wax: Of course provided its the same as you use anyway.
Share Boards: When it drops right off I lend my carpet to Essex and use my log.

Strange questions . .why do you ask.

Some people don't bring their own boards, and prefer to borrow your extra boards(they don't rent). And for wax, some don't really bring it. They just ask for some. Was just wondering if people like this are common in other groups.

Not what you call a 'surf buddy' just a 'beach leech'.

Perfect term! Well, having no money is their reason for being a leech. You tend to tolerate it at first, but when the borrowed board gets a lot of dings afterwards, it gets pretty frustrating...

So any chance of the term 'beach leech' entering the Surfing Waves Glossary of terms (https://surfing-waves.com/surf_talk.htm#B) PapaW?

Friends are friends, if they aren't that well off and they are a good friend then lend them your board. I have 12 boards and loan mine all the time, though I don't loan my favorites LOL

Around 5 person is ok and quite satisfying.. About the board, it's better to have atleast 2 or 3 boards for a group of 5 persons. Although the other 2 may borrow but I believe it will be just enough to enjoy! :-)

Go enter your phrase " Beach Leech " into the " urban dictionary dot com " !

( I have an entry in there for Bum Cheese  ) !

If I go with my business I'll credit the terminology to you :P .
