Surfing on Isle of Islay?

Postby speedy641 » Tue Aug 25, 2009 10:49 am

Ok folks, I'm not a surfer so apologies for any gaffs...I am a Dad trying to research some surfing for my son, 15 years old. He has done some surfing in Cornwall, Tiree and NZ, I think he's ok but not an expert . We are doing the family hol on the Isle of Islay, just wondering if anyone surfs on the island, or had experience of doing so?

Any info gratefully received...thanks. :D

I've never surfed there, but I imagine it would be very good!
Definitely worth going with the intent of doing it!
