Going to Portugal in Aug

Postby balashka » Wed Jul 15, 2009 7:02 pm

Hi - I am new to this sport and have choosed Portugal as the place to begin based on many of your comments here on the forum. I am planning to come in Aug 16-23 - any recommendation where to stay (want full board camp with instruction). What is the age range of those in that area during this season? Also, what to bring? Many thanks for your replies

I went to this camp in peniche, portugal:

got on so well, ive been back twice more..., he's a fantastic teacher, plenty of young people during summer id imagine, isnt full board mind you (not sure if many camps do that though), theres plenty of supermarkets and restuarants around the locality...

you get full surf gear, so only need summer clothes (should be plenty warm in august) and a towel i guess...
