Advice on surf trip needed.

Hi everyone

Im writing from the emerald isle, Im looking for somewhere to go for a week break in may with quality surf, i was thinking along the lines of lanzarote or fuertaventuera but dont know much about these places.Im not looking for shallow reefs or thick barrels im only surfin a couple years. If anone could give me any recomendations where to go or stay id greatly appreciate it .
