Surfing Bulgaria

Postby el_timmo » Mon Jun 19, 2006 7:39 pm

OK I know this sounds weird, but has anyone ever been surfing in Bulgaria before? I've checked www.wannasurf.com before. I'm just interested to know if anyone has ever actually surfed there before, and how was it, and also how easy did you find it was getting there?

hehehe yeah.... there's good windsurfing there as well apparently..... thing is I'm playing with the idea of buying a property there, but I wouldn't want to be based anywhere far from good surf!

Good deals to be had there if you get in there now!

Check these out in the North of Spain

Most of them are a bit rough and ready and need work, but the surf's amazing. I think you posted a link to Gijon??

Hey, dude
I'm from Sozopol, Bulgaria
Surfing in the Black Sea is cool! :D
Low Salt,no sharks,no reefs ,the weaves are very powerful ..but don't makes a barrels (half-salt then ocean's water & the buttom is aways sand)
I have surfing from 10 years ,we are group of 6-7 surfers
Surfing is a new here ,because Bulgaria have been in East-block by 1990 & no contact's with the west & american culture
I have seen here all conditions of the waves ....very...very.. strange sea ...but that make this xxxxx RulZz ;D
