Next year, I'll make a kind of diving/honey moon trip (before working in Goa - see other topic on India) and I'll probably go to a diving resort in the Central Atolls of the Maldives.
I'm thinking about the Medhufushi resort (Mulaku Atoll) : it seems to me that there's a surf spot there, as it is well-exposed to the swell and the reef seems OK to have a wave on the north side of the island, plus their website cites surfing as part of the "activities". Does anyone know more about this?
More generally I'd like to know more about surf spots in the Central Atolls - that is outside the usual well-known surf zones of the Maldives (North and South Male Atolls, and South Huvadhoo Atoll). The Oxbow crew made a trip there recently and the spots looked great, but no names were given...
