Campsites in newquay

Hi,

I`m thinking of going down to the boardmasters festival in newquay in august. We`ve never been there before - can anyone recommend decent campsites around there that i could check for availability?

there's a decent one just behind the hill at porth beach which allows large groups of friends. has good facilities with a shop, takeaway, swimming pool and hot showers! reasonably priced from what i remember last year. can't for the life of me remember what it's called though, but i'm sure you can google campsites in the area and find out. i remember getting frustrated that alot of the campsites round there seemed to be families and couples only. hope you have fun

thanks for the info - we managed to get in the sun haven campsite eventually. everywhere was booked up! think we were prettylucky to get in there for the 2 nights!

just got to fix the cracks in my board now!
