like to get to surf but never surf before

just arrived pasadena. it's been 1 months now, i don't know how to begin.

all i have now is a bike and an apartment. I like surfing but I never surfed before. It would make sense for me to find a motel at the beach and spend a week at the beach trying to figure out how to surf because it would be a complete waste of money. I don't have any friends until january which is when my first semester begins(in PCC). I'm a foreigner by the way. If there are helps, advises, solutions---> please post back. Thanks.

you should either rent a board, or find a surf school and take a lesson. Just spend a day havin fun with it to see if you like it (im sure you will!) and if its sumthin that u enjoy then think about buying yourself a board to improve on! good luck! xox
